Dr. Madani-Becker received her Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree and Medical Degree from Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University graduating with Honors, Magna Cum Laude. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the West Los Angeles VA, affiliated with UCLA. She then completed her Ophthalmology Residency at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York, where she served as Chief Resident. Following Residency, Dr. Madani-Becker completed a prestigious Fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Madani-Becker joined Peninsula EyeCare Medical Associates in 2003 and has been a part of the South Bay Community since. Her practice provides comprehensive eye care with specialization in Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Madani- Becker has performed over 5000 advanced Cataract Surgeries and Laser Vision Correction since 1999, specializing in the latest in Bladeless, Femtosecond Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery as well as Lasik and Refractive Surgery. She is also an expert in implanting multifocal, Toric and Monofocal implants. To accommodate her patients, Dr. Madani-Becker is credentialed at several Surgery Centers and Hospitals (see list below).
