Julie Madani-Becker, M.D., F.A.C.S. has been associated with Kenneth J Miller MD since 2003 when she completed a prestigious fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a Fellow in the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Madani-Becker attended Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She continued her career at the UCLA Hospital and the West Los Angeles Veterans Hospital spending one year in Internal Medicine. Thereafter she completed her ophthalmology training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York.

During her fellowship training, Dr. Madani-Becker perfected new and innovative technical advances in corneal diseases including transplantation and surface disorders, in addition to other medical and surgical aspects of the cornea. She is an experienced and skilled Lasik and Refractive Surgeon as well as an excellent cataract surgeon.

Dr. Madani-Becker has been involved in teaching medical students and ophthalmology residents various surgical skills over the years. She participates in the annual meetings of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and has presented several original posters and papers.
